San Antonio Bay Overview

Quieter holidays: Just further around the crescent-shape of San Antonio Bay, this resort offers slightly more relaxing 2019 holidays than its rowdier neighbour San Antonio. That said, there are still a good number of bars in San Antonio Bay that stay open till the early hours. Prices are generally a bit cheaper on San Antonio Bay holidays too.

Brilliant beach holidays: San Antonio Bay holidays have another advantage over San Antonio Town – the beautiful beach. The sand here is soft and golden, plus the water stays shallow for a long way out, perfect for children if you’re looking at family holidays to Ibiza. It’s also a little less busy, which means you get more space to stretch out and relax during your holidays in San Antonio Bay.

Activities in San Antonio Bay

Bar entertainment: Many of the bars on San Antonio Bay holidays have excellent entertainment activities. So you won’t have to walk far to catch a game of pool, have a round of crazy golf, or play in the arcades.

Water sports: Although San Antonio Bay holidays have a separate beach to the main San Antonio Town Beach, it’s still well serviced by water sports. You’ll find every variety of water activities on holidays in San Antonio Bay, including parasailing and windsurfing. With the crystal clear water of the Mediterranean Sea you’ll see on all inclusive holidays to Ibiza, you could also get a boat to take you further out for an amazing scuba dive.

Beaches in San Antonio Bay

San Antonio Bay: Beach holidays are a big feature of staying in San Antonio Bay. It’s probably because San Antonio Bay is a much quieter beach than San Antonio Town’s further around the crescent. The golden sand and calm, shallow waters make it a great place to chill out; and it’s ideal for family holidays too.

San Antonio: Of course, if you did fancy livening things up a bit, you could always travel up to San Antonio Town Beach. You could either take the 20-minute walk around the bay to get there, or save the strain on your legs and take the frequent boat service across the water. The sand here is pretty similar; you just get louder music and a younger crowd on their holidays in San Antonio Town.

Cala Bassa: A little further out this one, but it’s worth the travel time. You can get there in about 15 minutes by car or about 20 minutes by boat. The gently sloping soft white sand and clear water make this one of the best beaches in Ibiza holidays. Plus don’t forget to bring some goggles or a snorkel on your holidays to San Antonio Bay as there are many little fish swimming around in the sea.

Restaurants in San Antonio Bay

Kan Tong Thai: Thai restaurants are still quite rare on Ibiza holidays, so being close to San Antonio Bay this is a great place to visit if you’re having your holidays in the resort. At less than ten pounds per person, the set menu is fantastic value, making it perfect if you’re planning cheap holidays to San Antonio Bay. You can expect all the Thai classics such as Green Curry and Pad Thai Noodles.

Nuevo Adalucia: The decor in this restaurant is pretty basic, but don’t let that put you off! The Spanish food here is utterly authentic, and as a result it’s very popular with the locals.

Dewa’s Indian Restaurant: As so many British people have holidays in Ibiza, the island has become adept at matching our tastes. And as we love a good curry there are quite a few Indian restaurants around! Dewa’s is one of the best, and offers all the classic dishes you’d expect, such as Chicken Tikka, Dopiaza and Lamb Biryani.

Nightlife in San Antonio Bay

Drinks by the bay: A much more sedate place than its neighbour, San Antonio Bay holidays still have many bars which stay open till late. One of the best ways to chill out is by picking your spot on a nice comfy sofa in Kumharas. This popular bar is right by the seafront and plays suitably chill-out music all day. If you fancy something a little livelier on your holidays in San Antonio Bay, but don’t want to walk all the way to the centre of San Antonio Town, go to BN3.

It’s a warm-up bar for many of the major club nights in Ibiza, so you’ll see some big-name DJs in a much more compact and personal setting. For family holidays, there are plenty of British-style pubs and sports bars like Lineker’s, The Pint Pot and Winch’s.
