Activities in San Antonio

Boat rides: Being close to a bay, boats play a big part on holidays to San Antonio. You can catch a quick trip using the frequent service across the water to visit some of the quieter bars across San Antonio Bay. Or even better, get a longer boat ride out to the secluded beaches in Ibiza that can’t be reached on foot. There are glass bottom boat rides too, so you can watch all the colourful fish swimming past whilst keeping yourself completely dry.

Activity based holidays: For those who want as many thrills during the day as there are during the lively nights on holidays here – the high-octane water sports in San Antonio are perfect. Parasailing, jet-skiing and windsurfing are all available on holidays in San Antonio. Or there are the banana boats and doughnuts which are easier to get to grips with and just as much fun!

Crazy golfing holidays: You’re in luck if you love all things golf! Many bars on San Antonio holidays have their own entertainment centres with arcades, pool tables and crazy golf. That means you’ve the choice of several quirky, imaginative courses with colourful characters and unusual designs.

Beaches in San Antonio

San Antonio: The main beach in San Antonio holidays is a long, sandy stretch which caters to a young, party-loving crowd on clubbing holidays here. For many that’s the attraction, as well as the fact that great bars and cafes are lined all the way along this coastline. Bar M (owned by the Manumission clubbing franchise) and Attica are up around the Western end of San Antonio Beach, so you can listen to the latest dance and chill-out tunes while you sunbathe.

Cala Gracio: A calm, tranquil beach that seems a million miles away from the mayhem of San Antonio holidays. In fact, it’s only a few kilometres along the same southern coast of Ibiza and worth a walk if you fancy some peace and quiet. The beach is also much smaller and more enclosed than San Antonio Beach, but the pine covered surroundings make for a pleasant setting.

Cala Gracioneta: This small, secluded spot is just one kilometre away from San Antonio, but again, it couldn’t be more different. The locals’ beach of choice, you’ll hear Spanish spoken a lot more here (then again we are supposed to be on holidays in Spain, even if it is the Balearic Islands!). Although there’s only a small stretch of golden sand, the clear shallow water is wonderfully warm. It’s a great place to relax after a manic nights out during your holidays in San Antonio.

Restaurants in San Antonio

Jamel’s Bistro: The friendly chef here, Jamel, whips up a real storm in the kitchen and updates his menu often to keep things fresh. The food has a mix of European influences so you can expect dishes like lasagne, steak in port sauce, swordfish or profiteroles. The prices here are also very low by Ibiza standards - cheap holidays to San Antonio will stay cheap when you eat here!

Zebra Art & Grill: This restaurant has a nice relaxed atmosphere, which is not what you’d expect on lively holidays in San Antonio! Again, we’ve also chosen this restaurant because it has great value – you can get a set menu meal and a drink for less than a tenner. With food this cheap you can see why it’s easy to go on cheap holidays to San Antonio!

El Rincon de Pepe: San Antonio holidays certainly cater well for British tastes, but it’s still entirely possible to have an authentic Spanish meal here. One of the best traditional restaurants in the area is El Rincon de Pepe. The varied menu includes lots of tapas classics like Grilled Squid, Potato Omelette and Meatballs.

Nightlife in San Antonio

Es Paradis: Often described as ‘the most beautiful club in the world’, this is one of the best places to party on San Antonio holidays, and one of the main reasons people choose this side of Ibiza for their holidays. The decor takes on a Roman theme, with giant columns and a huge balcony. Many big-name DJs play here, and there’s a greater variation of music than some other clubs – everything from R’n’B and Hip-Hop to Trance and Pop.

Eden: Another huge super club you’ll love on San Antonio holidays. Eden is right next door to Es Paradis. The music here used to have a strong focus on trance, but now includes pop and r’n’b due to a change in direction. The main dance floor is huge, and the club itself has just undergone a refurbishment, making it ultra-modern and comfortable inside.

Bar M: Part of the world famous Manumission clubbing brand, this stylish bar is a must visit on San Antonio holidays. Decorated in contemporary bright orange is a cool chill-out area by day and a great place for a rave-up by night. It also houses the increasingly popular Ibiza Rocks nights, which gives an indie flavour as a change from the typical dance music focus of Ibiza.

Cafe del Mar: One of the most famous bars in the world, not just Ibiza, and for good reason. There’s no better experience than watching the sunset while sitting at a table on your holidays here listening to the latest house tunes. The Ibiza sun is famous for almost melting into the sea, burnt orange colours rippling across the waves.

Cafe Mambo: If you can’t get a table at Cafe del Mar, Mambo right next door is just as good. The atmosphere is a little livelier too. Whether you’re having 7 nights or 14 nights in San Antonio on your holidays, you should have plenty of time to fit in both bars during your holidays anyway.
