Cheap all inclusive Mexico Holidays

Rich in culture, a treasure trove of historical sites, some of the best beaches in the world and traditional cuisine that simply cannot be beat – welcome to Mexico. It is a country of immense beauty with white sand beaches meeting oceans so blue you will think the sky is fading.

On the eastern coast you have the state of Quintana Roo home to the lively cities of Cancun and Playa del Carmen as well as peaceful hideaways such as Puerto Aventuras and the quaint island of Isla Mujeres. While on the west side there is the cosmopolitan city of Puerto Vallarta with its bustling El Malecon and sprawling marina.

This is a small taste of what Mexico has to offer. Peruse chic boutiques, scuba dive off some of the most incredible reefs you are likely to see, visit ancient Mayan ruins, and sunbathe on the white sands and, of course, try the tequila. Let’s take a little tour of what Mexico has to offer.

A taste of the Caribbean in Latin America

Staying in the Quintana Roo region of Mexico and you could be easily forgiven if you thought you had been transported to a Caribbean island. While the cities of Cancun and Playa del Carmen sit on the Caribbean shore it is the villages of Puerto Aventuras and Puerto Morelos and the islands of Cozumel and Isla Mujeres that gives it a tropical vibe.

The region is home to the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, one of the largest and most beautiful of its kind in the world. As such, both Quintana Roo and the Yucatan Peninsula have become huge favourites among scuba divers and snorkelers. There are a host of diving schools dotted along the coastline that take everyone from novices to experienced divers to see this magnificent natural wonder.

Part of the magic of visiting this part of Mexico is seeing how the Mayans came to shape it. At every turn there are reminders of the legacy that this Mesoamerican civilisation left on the Yucatan Peninsula. By far the most recognisable landmark is El Castillo at Chichen Itza. This hugely spiritual site was a place of worship for the Mayans between 600 and 1200 AD and is named among the New Seven Wonders of the World.

Travel along the Mayan Riviera to discover more of the ruins that were around during this time. Glorious natural parks such as Xcaret are home to more Mayan villages not to mention stunning panoramic views over the region and inviting beaches to spend the day.

Of course, the main allure of the region, aside from its natural beauty, is the party atmosphere of Cancun and Playa del Carmen. The pair can boast a hugely cosmopolitan vibe with people from all over the world flocking to sample their unique atmosphere. However, if you’re looking for something a little different then head over to the west coast to see the wonderful city of Puerto Vallarta.

There is so much choice when it comes to holidaying in Mexico.

Why go to Mexico?

As a long haul destination, Mexico has everything you could ever wish for. Spend your days lounging on Caribbean beaches or maybe trying your hand at scuba diving; while in the evening you can take your pick from the wealth of incredible restaurants sampling some divine local cuisine.

From the moment you step off the plane you will be embarking on an adventure you will never forget; with the beautiful Mexican landscape as your backdrop. Paradise.
