Attractions on International Drive Orlando holidays
Universal Studios Florida Resort: At the northernmost point of International Drive Orlando holidays, Universal Studios is a huge resort featuring two theme parks, a water park and many hotels and restaurants. The main draw for having holidays in Orlando is the Universal Studios Florida theme park, which is the eighth most popular park in the USA. Divided into six themed areas, such as New York, San Francisco and Hollywood, the rides here all have a strong focus on famous American films. Top attractions include Shrek 4-D, Revenge of the Mummy: The Ride, Men in Black: Alien Attack, The Simpsons Ride, and of course, the famous Jaws boat ride. And then there’s the Islands of Adventure, a newer theme park in the Universal resort. The rides here include the Incredible Hulk Coaster, the Jurassic Park River Adventure and the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter. As you’d imagine, they’re all incredibly exciting attractions just waiting to be enjoyed on International Drive Orlando holidays.
SeaWorld Orlando: Combining a fun theme park and an exciting marine zoo, SeaWorld offers an enthralling, educational experience for both young and old alike on International Drive Orlando holidays. Rides include Kraken (one of the longest roller coasters in Florida), Journey to Atlantis and Manta (a roller coaster which includes observations of real manta rays and sea dragons). And of course, there are plenty of animal shows to see too, as it’s what made SeaWorld so famous in the first place! Within the grounds expect to see killer whales, dolphins, sea lions, parrots and flamingos. Plus, you can even dine in a restaurant where sharks swim over your head in a huge water tank! That’s a dining experience and a half for your International Drive Orlando holidays!
Busch Gardens: If you still can’t get enough of theme parks on International Drive Orlando holidays, you could always travel the 60 miles or so to Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay. One of the most popular theme parks in the USA, the rides here include Gwazi (a fast wooden roller coaster), Sesame Street Film Festival 4-D, and the newly opened Cheetah Hunt (an extremely fast roller coaster where you can actually see real cheetahs while you’re on the ride). The animal exhibits here feature a wide variety of exotic animals in tropical surroundings, including zebras, giraffes, meerkat, lions, hippos and snakes.
