Costa de Antigua Overview
Close to the airport: Costa de Antigua holidays are incredibly close to the airport, meaning your transfer time is likely to be less than 20 minutes.
Calm, quiet village: With just a few streets making up the quaint village of Costa de Antigua, you can rest assured you’ll avoid the bustle of livelier holidays at the bigger resorts in Fuerteventura. Plus, you’re only 4km away from Costa Caleta if you’d like to take advantage of the wider variety of facilities there.
Activities in Costa de Antigua
Great water sports: Costa de Antigua beach holidays are ideally placed for water sports, as they enjoy the strong sea winds that dominate most of the Fuerteventura’s coasts. You’ll find windsurfers and kite-surfers here, as well as the more traditional parasailing and jet-skiing.
Beaches in Costa de Antigua
Costa de Antigua: Costa de Antigua holidays are near to a rocky coastline. Don’t worry though, there’s still plenty of golden sand here too! With the Canary Islands being in the Atlantic rather than the Mediterranean, the clear water is a little cooler here. But that’s no problem, as it’s certainly refreshing to take a dip after being out in the hot sunshine during your holidays here!
Restaurants in Costa de Antigua
Volvoreta: A traditional Spanish eatery with old village-style white washed decor and a leafy, welcoming entrance. It’s open all day to sell freshly baked bread and pastries, but becomes a tapas restaurant at night for authentic Canarian dining during holidays in Costa de Antigua.
Oopsydebsy’s: This little coffee shop is a great place to stop at for lunch when you’re on holidays in Costa de Antigua. All the snacks are handmade, with a great selection of favourite British finger food like Scotch Eggs and Sausage Rolls. There’s also a choice of coffees and speciality teas.
Villa Pizza: There’s a varied pizza menu at this nice little sports bar/restaurant in the centre of town. You can even create your own pizza from lots of different pizzas – perfect for eating whilst watching the latest footy game!
Nightlife in Costa de Antigua
One nice bar street: Offering rather quiet holidays, there’s really only one main street in Costa de Antigua with a few good bars on it. The best of these are Villa Pizza (which we mentioned earlier for its great pizzas), Mustang Sally’s, a lively Irish themed bar, and Diamonds, a stylish karaoke bar where you can record your singing to a digital track or CD. Think of it as a unique memento of holidays to Costa de Antigua!
