This remarkably well preserved amphitheatre seats over 7,000 people, and was built under the Roman rule of Marcus Aurelius. Nearby you’ll find the remains of a marketplace and the supremely clever workings of a Roman aqueduct.
Perge: This ancient Greek city is a short drive from Belek and features endless rows of columns and ruins of temples, churches and theatres. It’s also said to be the first city to produce beer, and has a heritage dating right back to 1000 BC.
