Arguineguin Overview
Charming fishing village: Holidays to Arguineguin offer the most authentic experiences out of all the holidays to Gran Canaria. That’s largely because Arguineguin holidays is only just starting to develop as being tourist focused, so it has still retained much of its old character.

The holes have been based on the challenging greens and fairways from Arizona in the USA, so expect tough water features, narrow fairways and huge bunkers! It’s also an incredibly beautiful course, with fabulous views of the mountains inland. It’s a top course for golfing holidays.

Beaches in Arguineguin
La Playa de Arguineguin: A wide open stretch of dusky golden sand, encircled by hotels – pick one near to the beach and you can walk right there in minutes. This beach often stays nice and quiet as most holidaymakers head off to the larger beaches in Puerto Rico and Maspalomas.
Patalavaca: A small, flat golden beach which again is perfect for peaceful holidays. The water here is fairly calm too, and there are no water sports so even the sea is incredibly quiet! Wander along the coastline of Patalavaca and you’ll come across a few more sandy coves too, some of them are so isolated you’ll feel like you’re on your own private beach during your holidays in Arguineguin.
Restaurants in Arguineguin
Fusion: You’ll see why this restaurant is called Fusion once you’ve tasted a meal there. The menu is an interesting mix of Thai and Vietnamese, all presented in a very creative way. Dishes include the classic Pad Thai noodles, Tandoori Fish, and Sake Chicken with Papaya. It’s great to see that varied, international cuisine is available on Arguineguin holidays.
La Goleta: You’ll like the friendly atmosphere of this laid-back restaurant in Patalavaca, just a little west of Arguineguin holidays. Expect to be served Spanish classics like Paella as well as home favourites like Burgers, Pizzas and Pies. It’s the kind of unfussy place that’s perfect if you enjoy cheap holidays to Arguineguin.
Orient Express II: Surprisingly for such a small holiday resort, there are quite a few oriental restaurants in Arguineguin serving the classic dishes we Brits love! All the dishes you’ve tried on your Saturday night takeaway are here, including Beef in Black Bean Sauce, Vegetable Spring Rolls and Sweet and Sour Chicken.
