Set on the south coast of Zante is Laganas. Laganas is the largest and most popular resort on the island because it has lovely beaches and some of the best nightlife in Greece!
Laganas has a beach that stretches around 5km down the coastline, making it one of the nicest beaches on Zante. The super soft sand is popular all round – especially with the loggerhead turtles who come to nest on Laganas beach! The sea is clean and clear and perfect for splashing around – although pedaloes are the only watersports allowed out of consideration for the turtles!
Laganas has lots of places to eat – from Greek cuisine to Canadian to Italian to fast food! You'll be spoilt for choice in Laganas! The shops have everything to suit the needs of your holiday and there's many hotels ranging from budget to luxury. Nightlife in Laganas is some of the liveliest in Greece, with scores of bars and an abundance of clubs that don't stop till the sun comes up!
