Playa Paraiso
Playa Paraiso can be found on the west coast, nestled between Playa De Las Americas and Callao Salvaje and overlooking the sparking sea. The purpose built resort has an atmosphere that is easy on the nerves, so if you are looking for a place that has a slower pace, where relaxation is the order of the day, then Playa Paraiso is where you want to be.
The name Playa Paraiso translates into ’Paradise Beach’ which is either tongue-in-cheek or wishful thinking as the beach isn’t really the best beach in Tenerife. However, the small, rocky cove we shall tentatively name a ‘beach’ is by far compensated for by the saltwater lido that lies in the centre of Playa Paraiso. Here is where people come to relax and have fun while the sun glints seductively off the cool blue waters. Of course, there are other beaches that holiday makers can visit. Playa De Las Americas offers some fine beaches and as it is only a short ride away from Playa Paraiso, they are well worth a visit.
Playa Paraiso is quite nicely situated so as to offer a lot in the way of activities. Aside from the Playa Paraiso lido, trips to Mount Teide, the Loro Parque, aqua parks and the rest of Tenerife can easily be arranged and as well as being a lot of fun, you also get to see something of the beautiful Tenerife!
Playa Paraiso has many great quality hotels and many of the hotels are relatively new as well so finding yourself a luxurious place in which to spend your holiday should not be too much of a problem. As with most of the hotels in Tenerife, the hotels in Playa Paraiso have wonderful facilities and most importantly of all, beautiful pools where you can simply spend all day swimming and soaking up the sun!
