Los Cristianos can be found on the south coast of Tenerife and is that special place which strikes a balance between a relaxed, quiet holiday and an action-packed holiday. Los Cristianos was once a tranquil fishing village but in recent years has been transformed into a booming coastal resort claiming a major ferry port and a top spot as one of Tenerife’s most sought after destinations.
Los Cristianos is host to a large number of restaurants that offer anything from Spanish food to Italian food so you’ll always be spoilt for choice when it comes to deciding what to eat.

Although not quite as loud as some resorts in Tenerife, Los Cristianos has a wonderful night-life and more than its fair share of activities for during the day! The low tax on electrical goods, clothes, fragrances and more make shopping in Los Cristianos a dangerously addictive pastime. Good fun can also be had with the street vendors who hold a tourist market every Sunday – but be warned! Haggling is a must!
Apart from shopping, Los Cristianos offers activities such as golfing, go-karting, scuba diving, wind-surfing, whale watching and water parks. If you enjoy an active holiday, then Los Cristianos is definitely the place for you to be!
On the other hand, if what you seek from a holiday is pure relaxation, then Los Cristianos has some of the best beaches in Tenerife! They offer a safe environment for children, a laid-back atmosphere for adults and even a small, hidden beach for those amongst you who dare to bare – a nudist beach!
