Found on the southwest of Skopelos is the resort Pefkias. Pefkias translates into ‘Pine Tree’ which is a more than apt description of this resort! Rural and scenic and a short drive from Skopelos Town, Pefkias is the place to go if you want to get away from it all…just not too far away!
Down the hill from Pefkias you can wander along and find some of the best beaches of the southwest coast including the golden shores of Limnonari. If lying all day by the blue sea doesn’t do it for you, then Pefkias is the perfect place for hiking – with loots of mountain and forest paths to choose from, you won’t get bored here!
Pefkias has a few tavernas where you can get simple and tasty Greek food. For more choice, Skopelos Town is nearby, but once you’ve tasted the peace and quiet of Pefkias, you may never want to leave!
