Santorini
Santorini, also known as Thira, is an island of Greece in the Aegean Sea. Opposite an active volcano, Santorini is not as verdant as the other islands of Greece, instead exhibiting a more rocky, dramatic scenery. Santorini was once a circular island but an earthquake and eruption thousands of years ago caused part of the island to sink, resulting in theories of Atlantis.
