Playa de Esquinzo Holidays

Playa de Esquinzo Overview

Quieter holidays: As a rule, holidays in Fuerteventura’s south are generally quieter than holidays in the north, but you’ll also find more Germans on their holidays in the south. They appreciate the beautiful nature and tranquillity of the resort, and you surely will too!

Activities in Playa de Esquinzo

Windsurfing: Playa de Esquinzo 2012 is within the Jandia region – an area that’s incredibly popular for windsurfing holidays. There’s even a global windsurfing cup held near here every August.

Nature trails: As well as green belts and nature walks, the lovely Jandia National Park is near to Playa de Esquinzo too. It’s certainly a nature lover’s paradise – expect to see lots of friendly chipmunks you can actually feed by hand!

Beaches in Playa de Esquinzo

Playa de Esquinzo: The wide flat sands that characterize beach holidays to Fuerteventura’s south continue here on this expansive golden coast. It’s also stocked up with facilities for catamaran sailing and, of course windsurfing!

Restaurants in Playa de Esquinzo

Marabu: This pleasant Mediterranean restaurant has a lovely outdoor terrace for enjoying Fuerteventura’s sunny weather, as well as a traditionally Spanish interior. The focus for the menu is on fresh food cooked simply but deliciously.

Emilio’s Beach Bar: This friendly bar/restaurant is right by the beach, making it a perfect venue for chilled drinks during the day, or meals in the evening. Grilled Prawns and Paella are two delicious dishes you can enjoy here. On to the drinks, you really must try the Champagne Sangria, a wonderful alcoholic invention that you really should treat yourself to while on holidays here.
