Cancun is the resort that has it all, from flawless white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters to the lively atmosphere that lies within the resort itself. Whether you’re single, in a couple or with your family you will love it, as there is something for everyone!
If you like to shop a lot then this is the place to be, with its American style mall which offers you top designer goods, down to the open-aired Mexican market stalls which sells a great range of souvenirs which consists of wood carvings, leather goods, silver jewellery hammock and of course the traditional Mexican sombreros. With all this it won’t be hard to find something for everyone back home!
If you looking for something to eat then Cancun can offer a wide variety or restaurants and bars which serve several delicious dishes. Why not try quesadillas or enchiladas which are rolled filled tortillas baked in sauce, and to top that of have a margarita cocktail or be daring and have a shot of tequila.
If it’s a lively night out your wanting then this is the place to be as Cancun offers a selection of bars and nightclubs whose entertainment goes in to the early hours.
If you’re looking for the hottest time of the year then the best months to go would be April through to September as the temperature can reach just over 32 C, but if you want something a bit cooler then November through to March are the better months for you.
Cancún is one of the most important tourist complexes in Mexico and the world. Its superb location, shaped like an island, its year-round mild climate, and its gorgeous, warm, sandy white beaches washed by the Caribbean sea are ideal for water sports. The waters of the bay sheltered by Isla Mujeres are calm and perfect for surfing, sailing, underwater diving and boat trips; those facing the open surf have stronger currents but are also suitable for fishing and snorkeling.

Beaches

Eastern beaches
As Gaviota Azul, Chaac Mool, Marlín, Ballenas, San Miguelito and Yamil Lu¿um beaches face the open sea, the waves are big, but you can still practice water sports. The view from their beautiful white sands is stunning.
Northern beaches
Las Perlas, Linda, Langosta, Tortugas, Caracol and Juventud beaches have gentle waves and are therefore ideal for swimming and sailing. There is a main dock from which boats sail for Isla Mujeres, and other, smaller docks where you can rent sailboats. There are also playing fields, restaurants, and bars.
Puerto Vallarta - Maxico
Puerto Vallarta is the more traditional side of Mexico with its mountain scenery this really is a beautiful resort to visit. The resort it self has two main city beaches which are really amazing with their golden beaches and crystal clear waters. With its unique jungle like mountains Puerto Vallarta is the perfect island for phototogrphers.
This island is famous for the Cathedral of Guadalupe which a must see! There are a lot of excursions that you can participate in such as, swimming with the dolphins or scuba diving with the giant manta rays. If you’re into films then you’ll love the jungle paradise called ‘Eden’ as that is where Arnold Schwarzenegger’s film ‘Predator’ was filmed.
Puerto Vallarta can offer you a great selection of restaurants and a bar that sell some delicious dishes such as the famous taco, which is a tortilla bread served with either chicken, lobster or beef and is topped of with a spicy salsa sauce. Or if you don’t fancy anything to eat then why not try a margarita cocktail or if you dare why not try a local tequila!
If you’re more in to shopping then Puerto Vallarta can offer a range of shops from typical western stores to small boutiques in the street. If you’re looking for something to take back with you for a souvenir then you can find several gifts such as hand painted ceramics, silver, colorful rugs even Mexican hammocks.

Cozumel - Maxico
The resort of Cozumel offers something for everyone from amazing white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters, to shopping at boutiques and a modern shopping centre. The beaches here are stunning; the widest beach that can be found on this island is on the south-west. There are plenty of excursions that you can participate in for example, go for an unforgettable swim with dolphins, or maybe a snorkel tour to see the second largest coral reef in the world.
If you’re looking for something to eat then Cozumel has a wide range of bars and restaurants that must be tried. San Miguel is the only town on this island so it won’t be hard to find what you’re looking for. The local restaurants serve almost everything from steaks to Chinese, or if they don’t interest you then maybe seafood is the better option.
If shopping’s more you’re your thing then Cozumel has a great variety of shops which sell such things as leather goods, beach towels, traditional Mexican hammocks and even straw hats can be found. But if you’re looking for something more modern then try Plaza Punta Langosta which include very fine jewellery shops, why not choose you own diamond and ring, necklace etc and they will make it and fit it for you!

Riviera Maya / Puerto Del Carmen - Maxico
This is the perfect resort for those people who come on holiday to relax and get away, and with this resort being famous for its amazing white sandy beaches, you will love it here. If it’s a quiet and peaceful beach you want then Akumal ‘s beach is perfect, with palm trees and crystal clear waters you’ll find it hard not to relax, as for those people who look forward to water sports and beach activities then Playa Del Carmen is very popular for snorkeling and scuba diving.
If it’s shopping you like then why not take a trip to Playa Del Carmen where you will find the local open-aired markets which sell a variety of goods such as painted ceramics, hammocks, silver jewellery, colorful rugs and if you want to take the Mexican spirit home with you then why not buy a traditional Mexican sombrero.
If your adventures and you like to explore then why not visit Sian Ka’an which is a jeep and boat safari in a nature park which is lined with mangroves and is home to many different animals such as Pumas, Jaguars and if your lucky some monkeys!
