On Majorca's west coast, close to Magaluf and Palma Nova is the lovely Santa Ponsa. Quieter than its neighbours, Santa Ponsa makes a great beach holiday for families!
The main beach of Santa Ponsa is absolutely gorgeous. The white sands are soft and the sea sparkles invitingly. Backing the beach is a lush wooded area providing the perfect scenery and bars and watersports are readily available – most of your holiday will undoubtedly be spent chilling out here under the sun!
If the main Santa Ponsa beach becomes a bit too crowded then nearby and close to the marina is a smaller and more secluded beach which has a children's playground nearby – if you don't love this holiday, you're children will! Santa Ponsa also offers cycling, tennis and golf – and a host of other activities!
Santa Ponsa is the best place to go in Majorca if you enjoy a touch of the Celtic. Since mainly Irish and Scottish people holiday here, the restaurants and bars – of which there are many – have a distinctly Celtic feel to them. So although, Santa Ponsa isn't as mad at night as Magaluf, you're guaranteed a lively night! Holidays in Santa Ponsa will keep you coming back year after year!
