Camp De Mar
On the south west coast of Majorca is the small resort of Camp De Mar. A peaceful place, this sunny resort is centred around the bay and is great for those who love beach holidays full of sand, sea and sunglasses!
The Camp De Mar beach is not the largest in Majorca but that's no problem as the resort isn't one of the busiest! The beach is a picture perfect layout of soft golden sands and sea so blue that the sky merges into it. Small boats can be hired from the beach so you can lie next to the gleaming hull letting the sun warm you as the waves gently rock you to sleep!
Camp De Mar is a very-laid back place. For things to do you can walk through the hills where overhanging pine branches make shadows on the floor, shop in some of Camp De Mars gorgeous shops or make your way to one of the nearby golf courses for a quick round or two!
Camp De Mar has a few hotels centred around the beach, the hotels mainly being four and five star ones with a few apartments and villas for variety. Some lively bars are around the resort and some excellent restaurant - one that comes highly recommended for novelty value if for nothing else is the restaurant on its own small island which can be reached by a wooden walkway over the sea. Camp De Mar - the perfect beach holiday!
