Cala San Vicente lies of the north west coast of Majorca and is one of the smallest resorts that the island has to offer. Next to the town of Pollensa with its scenic harbour, Cala San Vicente is the perfect beach getaway if what you want is relaxation through and through!
Cala San Vicente is one of the few resorts in Majorca that is still a working fishing port which is why most days you'll find fishermen on the beach with you! Cala San Vicente is quite local-orientated but the locals are all friendly offering a smile and a hello!
The resort of Cala San Vicente is made up of three beaches - the Cala Clara beach, the Cala Molins beach and the main beach of Cala Barques. So you're literally spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing where to spend the day! All the beaches have fine golden sand, aquamarine waters that are warm to paddle in and pedaloes to hire! The Formentor cliffs provide a scenic backdrop to the beaches as well, so a day out at the beach is a real treat!
Cala San Vicente is a whole lot quieter at night than some of Majorca's other resorts. A nice meal and a few drinks are the extent of the entertainment here - perfect if what you want is peace and quiet! Cala San Vicente has few hotels but they range from out-of-the-way luxury hotels to budget hotels. Cala San Vicente is definitely a paradise for people who want a quiet holiday that revolves around the beach!
