On Majorca's east coast and just north of the popular Cala Millor lies the resort of Cala Bona. One of Majorca's quieter resorts, Cala Bona is perfect for families who want a quiet holiday that's not too far away from all the action!
The resort of Cala Bona is mainly centred around the small working fishing port. Surrounding the port are various cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. In the early morning it's absolute bliss to sit quietly at a café watching the fishermen bringing in their latest catch – in Cala Bona you're guaranteed a peaceful holiday!
If you're holiday wouldn't be complete without logging a bit of beach time then you're in luck! Cala Bona has some lovely sandy coves dotted around where you can sunbathe in solitude. If mile after mile of golden sand is more appealing, then nearby Cala Millor has some of the best beaches in Majorca – either way you'll be spoilt for choice!
For things to do on holiday in Cala Bona, strolls along the promenade, shopping and sunbathing pretty much cover it – you can find some golf courses and lively bars around and the hotels have excellent facilities too. But for the more flamboyant action simply head up the road to Cala Millor! There you can try go-karting, aqua parks, horse riding – well, enough to keep you busy! The Caves of Drach are also quite nearby and it would be criminal to go on holiday to Majorca and miss them!
