Spanish village: Although there are a few luxury hotels offering all inclusive holidays in Las Playitas 2012, the town has managed to retain its authentic fishing village character, making if the perfect place for authentic and peaceful holidays. The white-washed houses are perched on a hill overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, and the narrow streets have a few traditional restaurants and bars.

El Faro de Ensalada: Reaching this unique lighthouse can be rather tricky. The only way is up a narrow 6km mountain road, so a 4x4 is recommended. But if you do make the effort, you’ll be rewarded with superb views of the sea and Las Playitas, as well as being able to see the elaborately designed lighthouse up close.
Beaches in Las Playitas
Las Playitas: The only beach on Las Playitas holidays is of the black volcanic variety. It makes a refreshing change from the imported golden sand found in many other holiday resorts in the Canary Islands. Additionally, the coastline is wide and flat and leads into inviting clear water.
