Aside from beaches, Kefalonia has a lot of breathtaking scenery such as mountains, flower-filled orchards, pine forests and olive and citrus groves. Mount Aenos is the highest mountain in Kefalonia standing at 1628m and containing a national park with plant species indigenous to Greece and Kefalonia.
