Half-way up the tree-covered side of Ibiza’s tallest mountain – Sa Talaia - lies the true Ibicean village of San Jose. With some truly inspiring views, this traditional village has a laid-back atmosphere that everybody who visits San Jose falls in love with!
The 15th century fortress Church overlooks the village square which is a nice place to stop and pass the time of day in one of the cafes. San Jose has lots of shops selling everything from ceramics to paintings to trendy clothes – not your usual tourist tack! Lots of picturesque beaches are nearby to San Jose, such as the beautiful Cala Jondal beach. Trips to the summit of Sa Talaia are also a must-see – on a clear day, you can see all the way to Majorca!
San Jose has quite a few good restaurants, some lively bars including a jazz bar and an open air cinema – you won’t be stuck for things to do here! San Antonio is just a short journey away for a more lively nightlife too! Holidays to San Jose offer everything that makes a great holiday!
