Formentera
Formentera is the sister island of Ibiza. To reach Formentera, you simply grab a cheap ferry from Ibiza and step off in this untouched paradise! Unlike Ibiza, Formentera isn’t party-mad like Ibiza, so it’s perfect for those holidays where you simply relax and soak up the paradise-like surroundings!
Formentera is home to a gorgeous beach and many coves. The beach is all rippling golden sand and blue waves – perfect for the windsurfing, sailing and snorkelling offered! Like Ibiza, Formentera has water that is perfect for snorkelling, with lots of interesting things to see in the crystal clear water!
Once you’ve settled into your Formentera hotel, hiring a bike is the best way to see the island. Travel the wooded paths or to the La Mola cliff face and lighthouse. Ride through small fishing villages or even go for a mud bath! The activities on this island may come cheap, but they really hit the spot!
Formentera is as perfect for sunbathing as Ibiza – with around 300 days of sun a year! Hotels in Formentera are relatively cheap and the hotels are generally great in quality. Hotels also offer entertainment at the night – if you don’t fancy one of the relaxed bars that is! Many of the hotels also have access to the beach too, so you won’t have far to walk!
