The villages of Istron and Kalo Chorio have a few beaches scattered around with the main one being a long stretch of gorgeous golden sand, unbroken blue sky and an ocean as clear as glass – no wonder people come to Crete for this beach!
Kalo Chorio village has an abundance of traditional tavernas and shops – the meze alone is worth flying to Crete for! Istron village sits on the site of an ancient town, so if you're something of a history lover, you'll love Istron and Kalo Chorio! The fresh food market is also worth a visit to pick up some of Crete's finest food!
Although the bars and tavernas of Istron and Kalo Chorio offer a lively night out, for a bit more excitement, the hectic Aghios Nikolaos is nearby though we doubt you'll want to leave Istron and Kalo Chorio!
