Situated in the north of Crete near the lively resort of Heraklion is Gouves. With some of the best mountain scenery in Greece and Crete and some of the friendliest people in Greece, Gouves makes an ideal holiday destination!

No holiday to Crete would be complete without a spot of sightseeing and Gouves is one of the best places in Crete to do that – you've got the old leper colony Spinalonga Island and the ancient palace of Knossos to wander around!
Holidays to Gouves in the evening are all about walks along the promenade, choosing one of the many delicious restaurants to eat in and then going to a couple of lively bars for the night – one holiday here and you won't want to go home!
