Pelekas is situated on the lovely west coast of Corfu. Pelekas is one of those rare holiday destinations that has something to suit every traveller. Although a very laid-back resort, Pelekas has quite a lively night life and you're sure to have fun!
Pelekas has any number of small secluded coves hidden around the area which can be reached by small winding paths. The main beaches provide everything you need though - nearby bars, hotels right on the beach, golden sand and softly curling blue waves, perfect for the water sports on offer! Pelekas is also famous for gorgeous sunsets where the sun bleeds the sky orange and red and purple - getting a beach-side seat makes the show spectacular!
Pelekas is set in the foothills of a mountain range and the whole area is surrounded by fragrant woods and olive groves. You can take some lovely scenic walks around Pelekas! The resort also has a number of shops that sell a wide range of crafts that make unique souvenirs!
Pelekas has lots of low-price restaurants that serve up some of the best food in Corfu and the hotels don't do too badly either! Pelekas has a lively nightlife, although there are no clubs there's an abundance of bars - Pelekas makes the ideal holiday destination!
