Gastouri is well known throughout Corfu for the beautiful Palace of Achilleion, built by the Empress of Austria. As well as the imposing palace, Gastouri has an abundance of churches of unparalleled beauty – so make sure you bring a camera along! The Vassilakis distillery is always worth a visit as well and hopefully a free sample!
Gastouri is a picturesque village and has some lovely scenic walks available so you can amble through the flowers on a sunny afternoon! There are a few beaches very close to the village so you can enjoy many days out on the golden sands! Gastouri also has some spectacular restaurants and some lovely low-key bars – in fact, Gastouri has everything you need for a fantastic holiday!
