Location
Situated against a mountain backdrop and affording marvellous views of the cliffs of Los Gigantes and the island of Gomera, the Tamaimo Tropical is set in mature tropical gardens about 100m from the coastline. The centre of the resort is 500m away and the airport 45 km away.
Accommodation
The one-bedroom apartments are well equipped for a comfortable stay. Facilities within the rooms include a private bathroom with a bath or shower, a terrace or balcony, direct dial telephone, satellite TV and a safety deposit box. Each also has a kitchenette with four electric cooking rings, a fridge, toaster and a kettle. Most of the rooms have a view of the pool area.

Facilities at the hotel are varied and include a reception with multi-lingual staff, postal service, car hire, foreign exchange, TV room with music and videos, childrens playground and playroom, crche and babysitting. For meals and refreshments there is an a la carte restaurant, a poolside bar and a barbeque.
Dining & Bar Facilities
The All Inclusive programme consists of breakfast, lunch and dinner, all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. A selection of snacks such as hot dogs, hamburgers, salads, cheeses, ice - cream etc are available at the buffet-restaurant between main meal times. The AI drinks like rum, gin, vodka, brandy, whiskey, honeyrum, tequila, triple dry, juices, liqueurs (peach, blackberry, apple), sangria, wine (white & red), beer, soft drinks and coffees are served at the pool bar and the Cocos bar. Also available, however, is Bed and Breakfast, Half Board, Self Catering. You can relish a la Carte and Moroccan cuisine served at the hotel's restaurant or relax with a nice drink at the bar.
Sports & Leisure
There are two large landscaped pools, one pool for children, a heated pool (in winter), Jacuzzi, 2 tennis courts, pool table, table tennis and mini golf.Sport facilities at the hotel include daily entertainment programme with activities & tournaments for both adults & children (pingpong, tennis, football, water polo, pool table, darts, rifle shooting, archery, mini golf, board games). Every Monday is Spanish day with a Paella and Sangria party and Spanish lessons.
Other
It is necessary for all the AI guests to wear their AI-bracelet. When drinks are taken at the sun beds, guests are kindly asked to request for a plastic glass.
