Sports and Leisure There are three swimming pools at the Acorn Sumba. An outdoor adults and children's pool surrounded by a large, landscaped sun terrace and an indoor pool which is heated throughout part of the year. Remember, for sea-lovers the beach is just a stroll away. Indoor massage area with Jacuzzi and sauna, volleyball court, French bowls, table tennis, billiards, fitness centre, water polo, near the hotel 8 clay tennis courts, 2 golf courses, diving, carting, riding, banana-boat and bicycles for hire (seasonal). The Acorn Sumba and Acorn Borneo are a particularly family friendly property and their entertainment programme reflects this. There is a range of activities for all the family that changes daily and internet terminals with 24 hour access.

ALL INCLUSIVE

On the arrival at the hotel a bracelet will be placed at the wrist of the AI guests. This bracelet acts as identification to the staff. Only one drink at a time will be served to guests; clients can order as many times as they wish. Inviting and treating drinks is not allowed

Accommodation There are 252 double rooms and 28 single rooms all equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fan and heating, satellite TV, direct dialling telephone, safety deposit box (charge), small refrigerator, magnifying mirror, hairdryer, complete bathroom, balconies and sea view, no-smoking and rooms with facilities for the handicapped available upon request.

Food and Beverage The bright, spacious, air-conditioned buffet-restaurant is ideal for informal breakfasts and long, lazy dinners. A snack bar next to the pool allows sun-bathers to snack whilst relaxing, the hotel bar in the lobby is open 10.00 - 01.00 and provides a great setting for a cocktail or three.

All Inclusive Food and Drinks

All Inclusive Food and Drinks The AI programme consists of breakfast (07:45-10:45), continental breakfast (10:45-12:00), lunch (13:00-15:00) and dinner (19:00-21:30), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. During meals wine (red, rose and white), soft drinks, water and beer are offered. Cake and biscuits are available between 15:30 and 17:45; snack buffet from 22:00-24:00. AI national produced drinks are served from 10:00-24:00 at the pool bar (10:00-18:00 subject to good weather) and the bar salon (18:00-24:00).
