Children Facilities

Like the Hotel Acorn Pionero, and the Acorn Santa Ponsa Park, kids of all ages are catered for at the Acorn Playa Santa Ponsa. There is the Cabana Club, for 5 to 12 years old kids, where a dedicated children's entertainments team, supervises a variety of activities in the playground area. Whilst older kids also have their own club, with activities such as mini-golf, water sports pool competitions and more. The entertainment programme is varied and interesting, with after dinner games and competitions a firm family favourite. Kids and adults can catch up on their favourite shows and relax in the satellite TV lounge.

Facilities and Services

There are two swimming pools (adults and children), surrounded by a big terrace. Sun beds and sunshades are offered free of charge. The hotel offers an extensive range of sports facilities including: artificial grass tennis court, volleyball court, French bowls, table tennis, billiards (extra charge), archery, gymnastics, and water polo. Nearby facilities: 8 clay tennis courts, two golf courses, a wide range of water sports including diving, paragliding, jet skiing and much more, and pedal boats and bicycles for hire.

Sport facilities at the hotel include complete daily and evening programme for adults and children, play-ground, La Cabana hobby-club for children as from 5yrs (parlour games, T-shorts painting, handiwork with clay, handicrafts in making air-conditioned with table and chairs) from 11:00-12:30 and 15:30-16:30, one junior climbing wall, one artificial grass tennis court (daytime), volleyball, water polo, table tennis, gymnastics, sauna (18:00-20:00), indoor swimming pool (at Pionero), sweet water swimming pool, children's pool, sun beds and parasols, pool towels (with deposit), archery and air riffle shooting.

Chargeable Extras

Accommodation

The Hotel consists of 171 double rooms and 38 single rooms. All rooms are equipped with: ceiling fan, shower/W.C., direct dial telephone, safe (extra charge), small refrigerator (extra charge and on request), sun terrace. The hotel also offers and non-smoking rooms.

Food and Beverage

Dine in relaxing surroundings in the fully air-conditioned, spacious restaurant and enjoy the choice of hot and cold buffets or try something from the excellent and varied menu. The outdoor snack bar supplies snacks and treats all day, whilst the main hotel bar in the lobby serves a range of drinks and delicious cocktails.

All Inclusive Food and Drinks

The AI programme consists of breakfast, lunch and dinner, all hot/cold buffet style, served in the main restaurant. Continental breakfast is also served until 12:00. During meals table wine, beer, water and soft drinks are offered. Snacks are available from 10:00-12:00 and 21:00-24:00. Afternoon coffee, cake or biscuits are offered between 16:00 and 18:00. National spirits like beer, non alcoholic soft drinks and cocktails are served from 10:00-24:00 at selected bars.
