Location

The Arrecife International Airport is 35 km away from the hotel. The city of Arrecife, the capital of Lanzarote, is 40 km away. Marina Rubicon only 1 Km and Playa Blancas harbour with ferry connection to Fuerteventura 4 Km. As mentioned above Playa Blanca Village is 2.5 km away and Papagayo Beaches just 600 m. Also note that National Park Timanfaya is 20 Km away. You can rend cars and bikes from the hotel. Additionally there is a free shuttle service 4 times a day to the Playa Dorada Beach (5 minutes to the centre). 24 hr reception. Room service, laundry and ironing service, medical care, massage and hairdresser are available with extra charge. Finally the hotel offers its own parking area, Tour Operators area and shops.

Childrens Facilities:

Childrens area: Playground and Mini-club with various daily activities and games. The childrens programme finishes in the late afternoon with a Mini-Disco. The opening times are from 10:30-13:30, 15:00-18:00 and from 20:30- 21:15. This service is only available for kids of age 4 to 12 years.

24 hr reception, laundry and ironing service, medical care and hairdresser with extra charge. Children's area: This includes an internal area, including mini-club area (for children from 4-12 years) where children's activities are carried out and managed during the day. There is also a children's park and play area with swings etc.

Accommodation

The hotel is encompasses 488 rooms. A number of these are junior suites comprised of two twin beds in the bedroom and one double and one single sofa bed in the living room. Most of the Junior Suites have bath with hydro massage and separate shower. The rest of the rooms are twins and doubles with an extra double sofa bed. A limited number of these rooms can facilitate people with disabilities. Some are used as single rooms. All of the 488 rooms have bath/shower, a safe deposit box (with extra local charge), hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone, air conditioning, a mini-bar (on request, with extra local charge) and terrace. 95 % of the rooms have sea view. Maid service provides towel change on a daily basis and linen change three times per week.

Dining & Bar Facilities

The Hotel has four restaurants and one snack grill (International restaurant, Pizzaria Veneto, Pon Hai Tau Oriental Restaurant with previous reservation, Maison Jaune French A la Carte with reservation and special discount for AI guests). Breakfast is served 08.00 - 10.30 in the International restaurant and dinner from 19.00 until 21.45 in the International, Pizzeria or Oriental restaurants. Lunch is also offered (13.00 to 15.15), but this and dinner in the restaurants not mentioned above are not included in the Half board pakage. Note that during evening meals gentlemen are required to wear long trousers and it is not allowed to enter the restaurants in swimwear. Picnic service is available at an extra charge paid locally, but a 24 hours notice is required at the reception. Fast food which includes warm & cold snacks, ice-cream, water, refreshments, beer and house wine are 24-hours available at an extra charge. The hotel offers a disco (free entrance, supplemental charge for drinks) and five bars: Canarian Bar, La Cerveceria, Green bar (only for adults), Theatre bar (summer only) and a pool bar. Please note that there are gala dinners scheduled for 25/12 and 31/12; both are included in the room rates.

All Inclusive Food & Drinks (24-hours) - the AI programme consists of breakfast (08:00-10:30), lunch (13:00-15:15) and dinner (19:00-21:45), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. Also at the disposal of the AI is Pizzeria Veneto for lunch & dinner as well as the Pon Hai Tau oriental restaurant for dinner (upon reservation). Hot & cold snack along with ice cream, water, house wine, beer and soft drinks are available 24hrs at selected hotel bars (from 23:00-08:00 only at the snack grill). Afternoon tea time is between 16:00 & 18:00. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks & cocktails are served at the bars & restaurants within the hotel from 10:00-23:00.

All clients have to wear an AI bracelet for identification. Gentlemen are required to wear long trousers during evening meals.

At an additional fee you can enjoy two Finnish saunas, a Turkish bath and three indoor Jacuzzi. You can also find mini golf, multi-surface court and a gym (extra charge). Sports activities are organized during the day by our entertainment team combined with external professional spectacles. These include aerobic, aquaerobic, tennis (with charge), table tennis, French bowles, ruffle shooting, archery, darts, pool table (with charge), volleyball, basketball. There is also a TV room and an Internet Corner. Some facilities with extra charge. The Discotheque (also mentioned above) is open from 23:00 until 03:00. (Starting 01/05/2005 it will be open at 23:00.) Entertainment programme for enjoyable daytime and evening times. The hotel has a theatre for night shows performed by its animation team, but also for professional shows and live music. The Childrens area includes a playground and a mini-club area.
