
A lovely bay with pine clad hills on both sides is what will come to your mind when you think of Cala Llonga (of course if you’ve visited it earlier). It lies about ten kilometers from the town of Ibiza and is on the coastal road to Santa Eulalia. It is about 5 kilometers from Santa Eulalia and is a picturesque bay with a small village and pine clad hills surrounding it. Earlier, the village was accessible only by sea but thanks to the increased tourist activity in the area the coastal road runs through this place.
A perfect holiday destination with all amenities, Cala Llonga has all that you’ll expect from a good tourist resort. The resort thrives with tourist activity and is particularly popular with family tourists. The beach at Cala Llonga is the most popular place here and the popularity of the beach is owed to its picturesque location and the shallow waters of the sea. Visit Cala Llong once, and you’ll want to visit it again!

A lovely resort in the Spanish Baleric Island of Ibiza, Es Cana is a bustling tourist resort in the Eastern end of the island. Just about five kilometers from Santa Eulalia, Es Cana has the Mediterranean Sea lapping its shores. A relatively new resort, Es Cana has evolved from a small village to a popular tourist destination what it is now. Es Cana is also known for attracting a large number of international tourists mainly due to its scenic and friendly atmosphere.
Es Cana is also known to have some of the longest beaches on the island and is also known for the Hippie market that is organized on every Wednesday throughout the summer. The coastline that runs almost from Santa Eulalia to the Cala San Vincente has a number of beautiful beaches with small restaurants and bars. Es Cana has all the facilities for watersports and is a must visit if you are a water sports enthusiast.

The smallest and the southernmost island in the island group of Illes Pitiuses, Formentera is a part of the Spanish Balearic islands. Located about 6 kilometers to the south of the island of Ibiza, Formentera is considered to be one of the most beautiful and scenic islands in the Mediterranean. The island was long considered an alternative for people who could visit the Caribbean islands and over the years, the tourism industry has seen tremendous growth here.
Formentera is particularly known for its lovely beaches with many of them still preserving their pristine nature. The island’s name is considered to have originated from the Latin word “frumentarium” which means a granary. The island is known for its unspoilt landscapes of exceptional beauty. Es Pujols and the ferry harbour of La Savina are other interesting places that you should checkout.

A modern resort to the south western region of the island of Menorca is the lively resort of Cala’n Bosch. It is about 10 kilometers from the capital town of the island, Ciutadella. The resort is located about 55 kilometers from the International Airport of Menorca and getting here is the least of your worries. It’s in summer that the resort is the liveliest and the busiest with all the tourist activity.
Cala’n Bosch has average nightlife, so it’s just not the place for someone who expects a lot activity at night. The resort was mostly developed in the 1980’s and so, the resort is relatively modern when compared to the rest of the resorts in Menorca. The most interesting place in here is the marina which houses a numbers of boats and yachts with a number of shops surrounding the area. The coast line at Cala’n Bosch is pretty rocky and has two beaches for tourists to enjoy. You could also choose from a number of watersports like canoeing and water skiing when you want to have some fun here.

Playa D’en Bossa is a beautiful beach resort in the island of Ibiza. Located just about ten minutes from the town of Ibiza, Playa D’en Bossa is well connected to the town and a number of buses ply frequently between the towns. The beach is the most important and the main attraction at Playa d’en Bossa. Thousands of tourists visit the place each year and the beach is what attracts the most crowds.
The beach is a lovely stretch of white sands stretching for about 2 kilometers with the turquoise coloured water lapping p the shores. The beach at Playa D’en Bossa is also known for a child friendly beach with shallow waters, so, you can have peace of mind when you have children in your trip. Walking along the beach and taking part in activities like water sports are some of the things you can do here.

A sandy stretch of white beach is what Port Des Torrent is all about. Located on the southern end of the island of Ibiza, Port Des Torrent is considered to be one of the best beaches in Ibiza and is just about the place if you are looking for a relaxing holiday. The beach has crystalline sands and the coastline is dotted with a number of bars and taverns.
With just about everything, Port Des Torrent is a perfect idea of a holiday along the beach. You could choose from a number of activities when you are here. From, getting a tan by lying in the beach to water sports, the beach is the place of ultimate fun! You could also hire banana boats, pedalloes and pedal your way through the waters of the sea. If you want to swim, then the beach here is perfect as the bay offers good protection from winds.

The name of the town that means “New Palm”, Palma Nova is a small town in the island of Majorca. Palma Nova was the one of the first tourist resorts on the island and caters to every tourist’s tastes. The town is located near the city of Palma and the resort town of Magaluf and this has contributed its emergence of it as a popular tourist destination in Europe.
The resort is a quieter option for people who are looking to get away from the loud nightlife of Magaluf. Also, the town being one of the first tourist destinations, still has the old harbor but without all the fishing boats that used to be here earlier. Now, the marina houses a number of yachts and other bots. Like all resort town along the Mediterranean, Palma Nova also has a lovely beach and you will definitely enjoy a relaxing holiday here!

With a number of names like Cala San Vicente, Cala San Vincente, or Cala Sant Vicenç, the resort town is one that is located in the municipality of Pollensa and lies about 60 kilometers from the capital town of Palma. The ride from the Son Sant Joan International Airport takes about an hour and a half. The municipality of Pollensa with the town of Cala San Vincente was primarily a fishing village and you can still find a number of fishing boats in the area.
The coast of Cala San Vincente is pretty rugged and has three beaches of which the beach of Cala Barques is the most popular one. You could rent a sun bed or a sun umbrella and get a tan in the beach. The beach of Cala Clara is a smaller one, so is the beach of Cala Molins which is particularly popular with bathers. Cala San Vincente is all about beaches and a peaceful holiday, and definitely is not the place if you are looking for some nightlife.

Famed to be the most beautiful bay in the whole of the Mediterranean, the San Antonio bay along with its town is the second largest resort in Ibiza. The resort town is also known for its nightlife and the southern part is known to be a quieter option. San Antonio bay was renamed on lines with the Catalan tradition to Sant Antoni de Portmany and is particularly popular with British tourists. It lies about 16 kilometers from the town of Ibiza and about 23 kilometers North to the airport of Ibiza.
The resort town is best visited in September- October and May- June as the temperate is ideal and also tourist crowds are the least at this time of the year. San Antonio bay has four beaches, two of which have rocky outgrowths. The Caló D’es Moro and Cova Blanca are two small beaches with sand and rocky coves while the Es Pueto is another beach white white sands that stretches for a long distance. The main beach of San Antonio has 800 meters of golden sands. Watersports are also available in these beaches and be sure to check them out.

A peaceful yet fun resort in the south eastern part of the island of Majorca is the resort town of Calas de Mallorca. Great for families especially ones with kids, Calas de Mallorca is about 70 kilometers from the Palma and the nearest inland town is Felanitx. The travel time from the airport to the resort is about one and a half hours. The resort is ideally located near other places like Porto Cristo and Sa Coma and all these places are just minutes away.
The Centro Comercial is where all the shops and the restaurants are crowded and you might want to check out some of the shops here. There are lots of places for children to play and one of them being the beach at Cala Domingoes Gran that is the longest beach on the island. The beach offers some great views of the Mediterranean and is just the best place if you love walking! If golf is what interests you, then you should also check out the Vall d’Or golf course which is a ten minute drive from here.
