The Algarve has some of the most spectacular beaches you will ever see. One of Algarve’s most impressive beaches has to be Praia de Rocha.43 beaches in the Algarve have received the blue flag award in the past. Scattered along the coast is a selection of champion golf courses that is just waiting for to have a go on.
The Algarve has a huge range of bars, clubs and restaurants. Fish dishes are very popular there, such dishes as Arroz De Marisco which is a rice and fish dish, or maybe Aguadente which is a fish dish but with a little kick.
The liveliest resort in the Algarve has to be Albufeira with its pubs, clubs and bars.
If you want something more low key then the resort Praia De Rocha
Would be the resort to go to with its street cafes and its international and local restaurants.
If shopping’s more your thing then the open markets of Lagos, Olhao will interest you. You will be able to pick up such things as hand painted ceramics, wicker baskets and beautiful fabrics
The Algarve appeals to all ages as each resort can offer something for everyone!
If your wanting the hottest time of the year then the best months to go are July and August as the temp is just over 28 C. But if your wanting something more cooler then April, May and October are the better months for you.
